Senior Tax Accountant

Hudson Cisne & Co is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to work closely with clients in tax related services across a variety of small to medium sized businesses. This position is located in our Little Rock office.

 

Knowledge required
An in-depth knowledge and understanding of individual, partnership and corporate taxes. Be able to prepare individual, partnership and corporate taxes for a variety of small-to-medium sized businesses. Software applications include: Engagement, UltraTax and Fixed Assets, MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook), QuickBooks, and Adobe PDF.

 

Experience/Education
Accounting degree required. CPA preferred but not required. Minimum of two years tax experience required. Public accounting experience strongly preferred.

 

Skills
Customer focused attitude and work ethic, strong organizational and time management skills, confidentiality is crucial, professional verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work with professionals at all levels and in varying industries. Ability to use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of service to our clients.

Senior Audit Accountant

Hudson Cisne & Co is seeking a Senior Audit Accountant to work with closely with multiple clients to lead audit and review engagements, supervise staff, and provide support to Managers and Partners. This position is located in our Little Rock office.

 

Knowledge required
An in-depth knowledge and understanding of accounting and auditing procedures to more complex and multiple projects while improving technical skills through CPE, personal commitment and on-the-job training. Software applications include: Engagement, Fixed Assets, MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook), and Adobe PDF.

 

Experience/Education
Accounting degree required. CPA preferred but not required. Minimum of two years assurance experience required. Public accounting experience strongly preferred.

Staff Accountant (Tax or Audit)

Hudson Cisne & Co is seeking a Staff Accountant to work in either our Tax department or our Audit department. We are a full-service accounting firm with clients in many different industries. The basic requirements for a staff accountant are technical knowledge in tax or audit, firm grasp on professional standards and practices, understanding the key function of the client’s business, ability to use referencing system effectively, ability to document work appropriately both written and orally, demonstrate the ability to analyze financial data and draw reasonable conclusions, and work well within a team and independently.

 

Knowledge required
Staff Accountant should have an undergraduate degree in accounting and be prepared to study and pass the CPA exam. Basic accounting, auditing and tax knowledge required.

 

Skills
Customer focused attitude and work ethic, strong organizational and time management skills, confidentiality is crucial, professional verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work with professionals at all levels and in varying industries. Must adhere to professional ethics of the firm, AICPA, and AR Society of CPA’s. Maintain professional attitude, behavior, and appearance.
