Hudson Cisne & Co is seeking an Accounting Manager to work closely with clients and our Client Accounting Services team. This position is a supervisory role responsible for overseeing staff and accounting / bookkeeping functions for clients. Responsibilities include payroll services, month end closing, general ledger reconciliations and postings, sales/use tax reporting, payment processing, and preparation of income tax for individuals, corporations and partnerships. This position is located in our Little Rock office but will work with our White Hall and Rogers locations. Some in state travel will be required.
An in-depth knowledge of bookkeeping, general ledger functions, bank statements, monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll and income tax reports. Software applications include: Engagement, UltraTax and Fixed Assets, MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook), QuickBooks, and Adobe PDF.
Accounting degree required. CPA preferred but not required. 5-10 years total experience required, minimum of two years supervisory experience in accounting. Experience working in a public accounting firm desired.
